Nestled in a peaceful corner of Torquay, our charming little place has been built to offer a unique and special getaway - just 300 meters from the beach. Designed and built with love by our own hands, our adobe style guesthouse, hidden in the gardens of La Casa Cubo is all about thoughtful design and care for our guests. Tucked amongst Australian native plants, cactus gardens, and fruiting trees & vines like passionfruit, citrus and figs, the Casita offers a perfect escape for couples and solo travelers seeking a serene, well-crafted space to relax and recharge. We want people to unwind and exhale immediately upon entering the front gate. We have strived to create a space that’s both comfortable and centres around eco-friendly ideals of using natural and sustainable materials to create cozy, stylish interiors that blend seamlessly with the outdoors. . While in a quiet part of town it is still only a short walk to Torquay’s famous beaches and delightful dining options. Whether you’re seeking relaxation, adventure, or a bit of both, our Casita is the perfect base for exploring the Surf Coast. We can’t wait to host you and share our special space - time here will slow your heart and mind into the pace of the Casita and leave you wanting to return again and again. All are safe and welcome at La Casa Cubo. We are proudly an inclusive stay and all guests of any background or community are welcome here in this safe space. Please note, The Casita is not set up for children or pets to stay. There is a step from the bedroom into the bathroom, otherwise The Casita is all one level from the entry gate. We stock a basic PANTRY that includes: Ground Coffee, Organic Teas & Hot Chocolate, Sea Salt + Pepper, Balsamic + White Wine Vinegar & Olive Oil. The KITCHEN has….Stovetop and Plunger Coffee, 2 x Electric Hotplates, Breville Kettle + Toaster, Sandwich Press, and a Convection/AirFry Microwave.
